When must music thieves download music and mp3’s they go to Pirate Bay. Pirate Bay has driven many small House music and Techno Record Labels out of Business with their torrent tracking site.

Holland is a big place for the underground sound they enjoy House Music, Hard Techno and Deep House, Detroit Techno and more.  Pirate Bay owners are hit with fines of Euro 50k (£42k) a day for each day the music download site remains open in Holland.

The Dutch courts had previously ruled The Pirate Bay to be illegal, but the service got lucky because thier servers were based outside of Holland.  The Pirate Bay’s three founders were found guilty of facilitating mass copyright infringement in a Swedish court last April. They were fined 30m kronor (£2.7m) and each sentenced to one year in prison but have appealed. An appeal hearing is scheduled for the Fall
